Singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Rodrigo Sha is what we call a complete artist. With 28 years of career and thousands of kilometers traveled, the artist transmits his energy to the public through music, whether on stage or with studio productions.
Throughout his 28 years in the professional music market, Rodrigo Shacon has won several music awards:
– Theme Music Award, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Christ the Redeemer
– Best Electronic Album, at the Brazilian Music Awards in 2014
– Best instrumentalist in the electronic music scene by DjSound magazine for two consecutive years, 2014 and 2015.
Throughout Brazil and the world, Rodrigo Sha has performed seven times at Rock in Rio, on the Rock District, Global Village, Electronic, and Rock Street stages. He has also played at international festivals such as WOMAD and Big Chill (London), the San Sebastian Jazz Festival (Spain), Coma Club (Copenhagen, Denmark), and Hollywood Ball (LA, USA), among many other important venues. His show, which blends jazz, electronic, regional, and samba music, with a repertoire ranging from Pink Floyd to Alceu Valença, including his own compositions, always captivates the audience with his unmistakable saxophone.

A communicator and music curator, in 2018 the artist received an invitation to have his own radio program: “HORA DO SHA”, on 94.fm.
In 2019 he launched his first international project, “Copenema”, through the label “Music for Dreams”. The idea began when the artist met the Danish musician Kenneth Bager in Brazil and continued in Copenhagen.
In 2020 he released his first live DVD, recorded at Sala Cecília Meireles, with an orchestra, featuring Daniel Gonzaga and Marcela Mangabeira, shown by Music Box Brasil.
Among the singles are his collaboration with Blitz, on the classics "Você Não Soube me Amar" and "Weekend," where he is credited with musical production and plays his unmistakable saxophone. He also released the first authorized version by the master Alceu Valença of the classic "La Belle De Jour," "O Amanhã," with Pedro Tie and João Felippe, "your latest Trick" with Rafael Nazareth, DJ Mam, Dani Rocco, Charlotte C., Mario Fischetti, Gui Defilippi, among others.
In 2022, Sha also released two important singles: "Point of Love," in partnership with DJ Gui DeFilippe, marking the launch of the Point Aéreo project, and "The Ship of Love," a track for which she co-wrote and performed, featuring Charlotte Caluwaerts (vocals) and the magical violin of Reinhard Vanbergen. "The Ship of Love" marks another international release with the Danish label Music for Dreams.
Also in 2022, he participated as an author and performer on the international album "Follow yourdreams" by DJ Pippi and Willie Graff, on the tracks Jaleo and Mudo.
From the partnership with Music for Dreams in March 2022 also came the album Sha plays Getz / Pessoa sings Gilberto, in which Sha and musician Maurício Pessoa were given the opportunity to present to the world their tribute and reverence to the iconic album Getz/Gilberto, a masterpiece of Brazilian music.
Also in 2022, he released another album, a beautiful partnership with Ricardo Imperatore, the "Shimp-Z" project, the EP Live Your Life with his Point Aéreo project, and Sha was once again a confirmed attraction at the world's largest music festival, Rock in Rio, sealing his long-standing partnership with the festival and corroborating his importance to the Brazilian music scene.
In October 2022, Rodrigo Sha launched the Brazilian Lullabies project in partnership with Platoon and Apple Music. In 2023, Rodrigo Sha released his album and tour "Coração".
And in 2024, he released the singles "Jaya Shiva OM", "Soleil Ipanema", "Keep the Light" with the English artist Xantoné Blacq, the remix of "Radio Pirata" in homage to RPM's 40th anniversary, and the albums "SUBLIME" and "Brazilian Oil".
He is one of the founders of the Marketplace www.oritmo.com, the home of Brazilian music in the world, with a library of over 2000 samples of Brazilian sounds and rhythms, which originated the album Brazilian Oil.
In this album "Brazilian Oil", released on December 13, 2024 on digital platforms, O Ritmo features a top-level team of collaborating musicians such as: Marcos Suzano, Zé Paulo Becker, Jam da Silva, MagrusBorges, Ricardo Imperatore, Cássio Cunha, Scott Feiner, Jovi Joviniano, Ella & The Bossa Beat, Afro2Brazilians and Rodrigo Sha.
“Brazilian Oil” features Maculelê with samba, Capoeira with Jazz, Samba with reggae and electronic music, Ijexá with Pop, Saculegê with Beat, Afoxé with classical, Afro with Funk, Bossa Nova – many different moods in an album brimming with musicality, curated and presented with great depth by Rodrigo Sha.
2025 is a remarkable and very productive year for Rodrigo, where he releases the album "Hoje" from his international project "Sha & Copenema," and also his music video "Hoje Você Disse Que Vem" is broadcast on the best music channels on TV, such as TVZ, BIS, and MUSIC BOX BRASIL.
Also in 2025, Rodrigo Sha continues his collaboration with the English artist Xantoné Blaqc and together with Pedro Tie, they release a version of the song "Cravo e Canela" from Clube da Esquina.
Rodrigo Sha, an artist seeking self-knowledge, connection with his essence, and his daily spiritual quest, decided to launch the SOPRO DA ALMA project in 2025, in partnership with yoga teacher Livia Vilella. The project began with a double album featuring 7 guided meditations and 8 meditations with nature sounds.
And on December 4th, 2025, Sha released the album "Original Soundtrack of the award-winning film 'Bola Pro Alto'" by director Cecilia Lang. The film will also be available on streaming platforms. This project marks Rodrigo Sha's first feature film soundtrack.
And in 2026, Sha & Copenema are already hinting at their new album, “Essência” (Acoustic Live), recorded entirely live with voice and acoustic guitar audiovisuals, by Juan Viana, at 39D Studios, with the intention of creating a raw and unadorned album to bring fans closer to the compositions.
